This Privacy Policy explains what information Receipt collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Receipt data. When you scan or upload a receipt, we process the photo and the details extracted from it — retailer name, date, total, subtotal, tax, and the category you assign. The receipt image and its extracted details are stored so you can review, search, and edit them later.

Loyalty card data. When you add a loyalty or membership card, we store the card's barcode or QR code value and the retailer name so it can be displayed and scanned in-store.

Camera access. The app requests camera access solely to let you photograph a receipt or capture a card's barcode. Photos are only captured when you choose to take one.

Account information. If you create an account, we store the information needed to identify it, such as your user ID.

The app lets you share your loyalty cards with another user by entering their user ID. When you confirm a share, the selected cards' details are made accessible to that user's account. You control which cards are shared and when; review the share confirmation screen carefully before confirming, as this action gives another user access to those cards.

Receipt images, extracted receipt data, and card data are retained until you delete them or delete your account. You can delete individual receipts and cards from within the app.

This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
