This app is not an official government app. It is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by the Australian Government or the Department of Home Affairs. For official information, eligibility, fees and the real test, use the official websites:

1. What the app is

The app offers practice tests, study guides and progress tracking to help you prepare for the Australian citizenship test. It is a study aid only.

2. No guarantee, no official advice

  • Questions and study pages are our own summaries based on the official booklet. They are not the real test questions, and the real test may differ.
  • We do not guarantee that you will pass the test or be granted citizenship.
  • Nothing in the app is legal or migration advice. Always check the official websites for the latest requirements. Citizenship decisions are made only by the Department of Home Affairs.
  • We try to keep content accurate and up to date but it may contain mistakes or fall out of date.

3. Your account

You can use some features without an account. If you create one, give accurate details and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account in the app at any time (Settings, then Delete account).

4. Subscriptions and payments

  • Some content is free. A subscription unlocks the rest.
  • Prices, billing period and any free trial are shown before you subscribe. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

5. Acceptable use

Do not copy, resell or redistribute the app or its content (other than as allowed by the licence in section 6), reverse engineer it, interfere with its operation, use it unlawfully, or attempt to access other people's accounts or data.

6. Content and intellectual property

The app, its design and our own text are owned by us or our licensors, and you may use them for personal study only. Study material is based on Australian Citizenship: Our Common Bond, © Commonwealth of Australia, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0): https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/. We have summarised and rewritten it, and the Commonwealth does not endorse this app.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

8. Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue features or the app at any time. The app needs an internet connection for some features, such as sign-in, study content and purchases.

9. Disclaimer and liability

To the extent the law allows, the app is provided "as is" and we are not liable for loss arising from your use of it, including any test result or decision about your citizenship application. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Where the law allows us to limit remedies, we limit them to resupplying the service or paying the cost of resupplying it.

10. Ending use

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the "Last updated" date and tell you in the app for significant changes. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE/TERRITORY], Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
