This Privacy Policy is a legally binding document designed to inform you of our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use, protection, and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from users of our application.
We are based in London, United Kingdom, and operate under the jurisdiction of the laws of England and Wales. This Privacy Policy has been meticulously drafted to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you explicitly consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this Privacy Policy, you must immediately uninstall the App and cease all use of our services. We reserve the right to modify, alter, or otherwise update this Privacy Policy at our sole discretion at any time.

2. Our Core Principles: No Data Sales and No Third-Party Cookies

We believe in absolute transparency and the minimization of data collection. To ensure your privacy is paramount, we explicitly guarantee the following:
  • We do not sell your personal data: Under no circumstances will your personal information, usage metrics, or test scores be sold, rented, or leased to advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties.
  • We do not use third-party cookies: The App operates strictly without the use of third-party tracking cookies, cross-site trackers, or invasive analytics pixels.

3. Information We Collect

To provide a seamless and highly functional educational experience, we collect the minimum amount of data necessary.

3.1. Information You Provide to Us Voluntarily

  • Account Information: If we implement account creation, we may collect your name, email address, and password.
  • Communications: If you contact our support team, we will collect your email address, name, and the contents of your message.

3.2. Information Collected Automatically

When you use the App, we automatically collect certain technical information to ensure the App functions properly:
  • Device Information: We may collect non-identifiable information about your mobile device, including the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
  • Usage Data: We collect local app usage data, such as your progress on mock tests, accuracy rates, and time spent on specific questions. This data is primarily stored locally on your device to enable the "Offline Mode" and progress tracking features.
  • Crash and Error Logs: In the event the App crashes, we may collect error-reporting data to diagnose and fix bugs. This data is strictly technical and stripped of personally identifiable information where possible.

4. How We Use Your Information

We process your data exclusively for the following purposes:
  1. Service Provision: To operate, maintain, and provide the core functionalities of the App, including scoring mock tests and generating progress reports.
  2. Customer Support: To respond to your inquiries, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide assistance.
  3. App Improvement: To understand how users interact with our App, identify bugs, and develop new features to enhance the educational experience.
  4. Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable UK laws, regulations, and legal processes.
Under the UK GDPR, we require a lawful basis to process your personal data. We rely on the following bases:
  • Contractual Necessity: Processing is necessary to fulfill our Terms of Service and provide the App's functionalities to you.
  • Legitimate Interests: We have a legitimate interest in improving our App, ensuring its security, and analyzing aggregated, non-identifying usage data to enhance our educational offerings.
  • Consent: In cases where explicit consent is required (e.g., opting into specific communications), we will obtain your clear, affirmative consent before processing. You may withdraw this consent at any time.

6. Data Storage and Security

6.1. Local Storage

A significant portion of your data, including your test history and progress metrics, is stored locally on your mobile device. You are solely responsible for the physical and digital security of your device.
